But please take your time because rainbow snail will take a little while to get there. I had so much to do today, deadlines looming over my head but then I noticed a sweet little someone decided to wake up on this very cold sunday in january. I haven't seen him since before christmas, so I had to spend a little time with him in the sunshine of the kitchen and introduce him to my new camera lens.
I love that last photograph of his rainbow shadow.
A lovely snail break and back to work on my computer I go.

I'm in love with the 7th shot. The dots on the antennae are so beautiful. Bravo, macro lens!

Absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for posting them. I don't have a camera that can do this, but if I did, I'd be looking for the things you get to see. What a wonderful world!

I appreciate this snail even more since reading Bailey's book. She was quite an astute observer, and would appreciate these photos. Did you know that you can post snail stories on her website?

Since I was a little girl I've always been repulsed by snails and now after reading your blog for the past year or so, I'm fascinated by them. How incredible it is that they live in your house!
