It is almost finished , all those slow hand stitched concentric circles on naturally dyed fabrics and vintage linens. I was excited to show you just a little glimpse of how it looks so far. Here you see it in its concave form with a visit from the exquisite blue tit that I received in a trade with abigail brown.
This piece is much larger than the medicine shields and was inspired by vintage targets.
you make the most lovely things.

I love the colours of it, so pretty. The blue floral is a nice surprise too.
It looks like the gorgeous blue tit really likes it too :)

Wow, you're being so productive. I love how you're making all these pieces which link together, from one to the next. The target shield looks beautiful.

It's simply fabulous! The contrast between the finer stitched fabrics against the coarse backing fabric is a very good detail. I too like to follow your creative path, or is it a stream? Your amazingly productive. Perhaps because your children are bigger, and you have more time? ...

Wow, from one incredible artist to another. Thank you for making me discover Abigail's beautiful work. The crocheted stone you made for her is exquisite.
And I adore the colours you selected for your target shield.

And the blue tit is absolutely amazing too.
