awww my gosh at the last photo (first thing first)
and YAY for this wonderful boost of luck ! You should totally be paid by the brand, because if they ever sold boots here, I'd definitely buy them !!! (maybe I should get a pair ... though I doubt they will sell them in the summer LOL) They would last me a whole lifetime ahahah

I understand your pleasure regarding the boots. My walking boots are my very best friends. I spend quite a lot of money on them and they never let me down. We've travelled far and wide, and I love them. When they wear out, I 'pot them on'. In other word, I plant small things in them and put them around the garden. They seem to do quite well.

Oh yay! I nearly bought Sorel boots while in the States at Christmas but I had sizing issues. Those look like perfect boots for Canadian winters and I'm so happy for you that you bagged a bargain!

Edgar is the funniest :)

My trusty Sorrels have not let me down for the past 14 years! And they look a LOT like yours. Enjoy your toasty toes.

Hola from Spain,
Been following your blog for weeks. Your pics are simply amazing. Not to mention your lovely new boots (out of this world). As for Edgar, he's just so sweet! I'm more a dog person but lately I'm getting to know cats better. I have two at the moment. They sleep during the night at a cow stable right in front of my house...but during the day they give so much company...
Congratulations for your blog

Awesome boots! Every Canadian needs a good pair of winter boots.

I imagine the joy of that pair of boots when you entered in that shop and bought them, thinking of the fantastic walks you will take them ! A dream for every pair of shoes !

dr martens boots

really a nice post and the style of the blogger to introduce the new pair of the shoes is really stylish and more attractive.

How lucky for you! WOW, and such a bargain. I have always had a pair of pack boots. Love the pics of your girls in theirs. Awww Edgar you look mighty fine in your socks!

It seems you lucked out big time. Good for you. Sometimes it pays to wait.

I made a very similar "loving branch" for my little Valentine.
Lovely boots! "these boots are made for walking... and thats just what they will do..."
Enjoy your walks!
