So jealous! I wish I could join you and Arounna! Hopefully the weather will be nice for you!
I've nominated you for the stylish blogger award too. You can find info about it on my blog. http://laruelapalooza.blogspot.com/

Oh how I WISH I lived closer! A natural dye workshop sounds like the perfect way to spend a Friday (much better than in my grey cubicle...)

I should say that I will be close by this weekend. I am coming to Toronto for work late Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, but have absolutely no idea if/when I will have any free time, or else I would have loved to organize a meet-up. I'm hoping to at least make a mini breakaway to visit Bookhou at some point. But it will all depend on meetings etc.. (Do not feel too sorry for me, I am actually meeting the folks from New Zealand's Te Papa museum at the Ontario Science Centre to visit and talk about their whales exhibit. We are bringing it to Ottawa next year.)

Who knows, perhaps we will be lucky enough to run into each other?

Oh, silly me, I forgot to say how much I love your little button book. Just darling!

Could that precious tiny book be more perfect???? Impossible! I have to go check out Sonia's photos...I bet she dyed when she opened her package ;) Oh how I wish I was getting together with you and Arounna this weekend! Have fun :)
P.S. I miss you!

what a special little book. so jealous of your natural dyeing, and that workshop sounds awesome. quick question, where do you get your alum from? i am having trouble finding some locally, wondering if i might have to mail order.

please take some pictures for those of us not there

That's a lovely little book.. (I showed a picture of one you made a while back to my children, and I keep finding ones they made around the house. Wonderful!)

Have a great time, tomorrow!

there's hardly anything I want to tell you but "thank you, my friend", and "I love you so much, my friend"
(oh, and have a blast tonight !!!)

er ... I meant, TODAY ;-)

These are just the sweetest little books. I like how much thought of your friend went in to the making of this particular one.

Carol Dee

Sweet little book. I have a supply of large buttons. This looks like a play day project for this Grandma! TFS, hugs...

Looking forward to seeing what you do with Arounna and definitely love the button book too!AriadnefromGreece!

I saw one of these button books a couple weeks ago on another blog! They are SO fun! I bought some buttons to make one, but have yet to come up with a good enough idea for the "pages"... I'll think of something eventually :)
