I dye for you. Yes I dye for you but also for me too. In fact I am going to be doing some dyeing with arounna tomorrow at the workroom. Sonia posted some gorgeous pictures of a tiny gift I sent her so I thought it was perfect timing to post a few pictures I took of the tiny button book about natural dyeing before it left my hands.
I really enjoy making these tiny one of kind books.

So jealous! I wish I could join you and Arounna! Hopefully the weather will be nice for you!
I've nominated you for the stylish blogger award too. You can find info about it on my blog. http://laruelapalooza.blogspot.com/

Oh how I WISH I lived closer! A natural dye workshop sounds like the perfect way to spend a Friday (much better than in my grey cubicle...)
I should say that I will be close by this weekend. I am coming to Toronto for work late Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, but have absolutely no idea if/when I will have any free time, or else I would have loved to organize a meet-up. I'm hoping to at least make a mini breakaway to visit Bookhou at some point. But it will all depend on meetings etc.. (Do not feel too sorry for me, I am actually meeting the folks from New Zealand's Te Papa museum at the Ontario Science Centre to visit and talk about their whales exhibit. We are bringing it to Ottawa next year.)
Who knows, perhaps we will be lucky enough to run into each other?

That's a lovely little book.. (I showed a picture of one you made a while back to my children, and I keep finding ones they made around the house. Wonderful!)
Have a great time, tomorrow!

These are just the sweetest little books. I like how much thought of your friend went in to the making of this particular one.

I saw one of these button books a couple weeks ago on another blog! They are SO fun! I bought some buttons to make one, but have yet to come up with a good enough idea for the "pages"... I'll think of something eventually :)
