The last few pictures were taken in mexico and the lavender ( the last shot) was growing in Geninne's garden.

Thank you so much for the beautiful photography that you share. It is a joy. Things here in the NZ region have been fraught what with the Christchurch earthquake and Japan's tsunami unsettling a lot of people. We are in autumn now and with winter approaching folks in ChCh with badly damaged homes are very stressed. I am in Wellington with family in ChCh (like half of NZ!) so not directly challenged but in reality we in NZ are all affected. Your blog helps bring calm.

These photos are really beautiful Margie, I especially like the little bird with the wool nest.

lavender is such a delicate color, even though slightly melancholic (in my very own opinion, of course - and don't ask me why, because I don't know) Much love to you today oxox

I love the Activities of the Bird! The first three photos in succession really make it look like "a life in the day of the paper bird."
It was also really neat to see how you approached the colour lavender. I found it the hardest yet - but so fascinating, because I never noticed how little lavender there is in my surroundings...

Loving all of your spring colour images and the paper bird's adventures are griping, where will she/he (?) pop up next?
Kisses from here.
