what wonderful experiments ! the solar dyeings are to die/dye for, and you have found the best spring dyeing assistant, I promise to replace him for the summer season ;-) ahah

Just a quick lunch and then back outside I go for the day too. I guess all that finger crossing for a sunny day finally worked.:) It was just a few minutes ago that Mike and I were discussing the pine pollen. We have several large pines in our front garden and with each little breeze, we could see these clouds of pollen being dispersed. Quite cool.


Don't know what look you were wanting with that butterfly but I LOVE how it turned out! Kinda there but not there, very mysterious!! It would look really cool on a stick hanger.


so much wonderful experimenting. i quite like the subtle indigo butterfly - very nice!
