I have wondered about these spiders! Last summer there was a yellow one on a Black-eyed Susan in my garden, and a few years ago there was a white one on Queen Ann's Lace. I figured they were related, as they both had the red markings and caught unsuspecting bees as they landed on flowers, but I had no idea that they could change color! I am not actually a spider lover, or even liker, but I was transfixed by those two, and I hope another comes to live in my garden this summer.

hello, your blog is such a happy place to visit. Whenever i read a new post it slows everything in my surroundings down into the present moment for the time that i am looking at your photos and reading your posts. Thank you :)

I've been working hard trying to overcome my aversion to spiders. I have to say your beautiful photos help. What a pretty thing!

well, wow !!
I'm happy when I manage to spot something that could have been overlooked so easily
yesterday I spotted a spider with her eggs, but she was faster than me, the time I went to grab the camera & put the macro lens, she was almost gone & my photo is all blurry :( Nevermind. She taught me to go faster next time LOL

Beautiful pictures. The flowers are amazing...but so is the little spider. So cute.
