alice in wonderland.. such a perfect sentiment!! the lens reveals such amazing mysterious things. these are gorgeous :)

i absolutely adore lupines. one of my (many) favorites. just bought a bunch of plants for a steal in chinatown last week, and so far they're doing wonderfully.

Lovely World

Our lupines are up as well. Such interesting flowers. My son was just reading through that Shel Silverstein book - it is really such a classic.

yesterday i was surprised to see a patch of yellow lupines on the side of the road - don't think i had seen that colour before. but i am hoping to gather some purple ones (they grow in profusion along the sides of the freeway) to try dyeing - we will have to compare results!

i love lupines! yours especially. it's a strange thing but i am actually looking forward to YOUR summer (i will live vicariously here.)

Thank for taking us with you to Macro-land through the eye of your camera lens. Hugs to you and yours!

love the second photo...

oh I adore lupines, they are just perfect: the leaves and then this great building made of so many many single flowers...and I just could watch how the bumblebees are climbing inside every single flower for hours..and then the sound they make because they want to go deeper and deeper..ahhh I love the lupines'house!!

Macro shots can totally take us in a parallel world, I can see it with my own lens now. Yours are out of this world & would make such an amazing book :)
I agree that Nature has much to say to the one who want to listen.

I'm right there with you. In reading my camera's owners manual I discovered I have a super-macro option and boy am I having fun with that! As long as I can stay still enough...

Such a dream-like quality to these photos, Margie, and great words to bring it all together.
