Last dance recital, last child in high school and last season of watching my children play soccer. It is the season of lasts. I know there will be many firsts as well this coming fall and winter too. Life is always a balancing act.
A few shots from the soccer tournament on the weekend.
That is Deborah , in blue right in the middle of the photograph.
Of course I almost never have idle hands on the side lines.
That is me wearing my favorite vintage sarah clothes summer skirt and chambray sundress. It was very warm on the weekend. I always park my quilt beside the meadow if at all possible although it does distract me a little from the game.
I did manage to catch deborah's amazing goal off a corner kick.

There are so many sports available. Sports are really helpful for the children physically growth. Soccer is my one of the favorite sport.

life's but a cycle, something begins, something ends, I guess the toughest is to understand this & to accept that simple fact.
But you do, with so much wisdom & beauty.
Sending you all my love

You're beautifully observant in every way.

Margie! I used to have a Sarah Clothes top in the very same fabric! How I used to love that store! I'm always on the lookout for Sarah Clothes pieces when I go to Value Village...
Hope you have a lovely weekend with your dearies.

Ends are so sad or full of strong feelings, probaly because we don't know yet the "tomorrows". Ends are hard for me (and June is always). But I trust your strenght and the strong relationships of your family that connect each of you tightly and I'm sure great things will come for you all. Hope the sun will shine on your week-end and mind !

Oh my, you have spittle bugs in Canada, too! Lovely, lovely pictures, as always. Endings are followed by beginnings, the ebb and flow of our lives. May they be blessed beginnings!
