In the heat of the day , Sonia and I either went to tour around the nearby towns or spent some time indoors, hydrating ourselves and working on pages in our journals. Sonia did some gorgeous watercolor painting that I hope she will show to you soon.
(this beautiful pocketed folder was a gift from sonia a few months ago)

Beautiful journal pages...love those leaves and petals, those lovely botanical sketches. So simple and so peaceful.
Sweet little folder for your pencils etc...what a thoughtful friend.
Your trip sounds lovely.

Love to see the journal pages!
When I was a kid, my parents had a sheet set in the exact same fabric as the cover of your pocketed folder. What a treat to see its lovely design again!

Thanks for sharing the journal pages, it's always fun to look at other people's creativity.
That looks like something I would enjoy with my kids, nature hunting! Although I don't know if we can display at beautiful as you did.

Love the combination of nature, texture, and pattern with the sketches - and the green check tape adds to the fun!

I used to collect leaves and flowers as a child and it does make you more appreciative of your surroundings and how wonderful life is. I might start another book from your inspiring post.
