What a lovely idea! I haven't had a journal like that since I was a little kid. Now I wish I had picked up some bits of seaweed too. I could use a little whiff of the ocean right about now.

I am terrible about buying beautiful little journals and notebook and then never putting anything in them. Your approach is so much better! My eldest daughter wondered about the checkered tape in your dye journal. Now I notice you have pretty striped tape here. Love the whole thing.

This is so nice idea! I definitely have to do something like that next summer! :-)))

I love your journal, Margie. It's the perfect way to hold on to a bit of each season.

i love the leaves
it reminds me of when i the collection my daughter and i did when we home schooled

can't wait to see what you put in the autumn book

This is like "The Spiderwick Chronicles", but for real. Please, keep posting, this is so wonderfully refreshing. makes me want to make something like this right now! :)

This is beautiful...such a collection of small treasures..I love the added illustrations from you...

I love your journal!!! You picked the perfect washi tape to go with all the pretty natural bits. Pretty, pretty seaweeds! Little treasures from the sea.

What a beautiful journal...inspires me to start one for fall...thanks

you've got me thinking i should start one for fall too...hmmm...maybe we could start a nature journal group on flickr? i love all the little treats between the pages of your journal - and of course those you chose not to include, for very good reasons indeed! :)

What a lovely idea. Thanks so much for sharing.

This is such a perfect idea! May I ask where you got the cute striped tape? Thanks for sharing :)
