all taken on my sunday morning walk in a small green space that encompasses a wetland between this town and the next

the temperature was just below freezing with fresh snowfall on friday and saturday

all of these crystal pins, needles  and columns were growing on the plants and grasses closest to the marsh

my travel bag for making

 

 

i finally got around to emptying my travel bag for making from my trip to ottawa last weekend

it is filled with bookhou pouches containing all my little bits and pieces:)

i am going to work on that stitched piece on the right

while watching episodes of victorian farm on the laptop

lilith picks the winner

we had about a dozen correct guesses 

the nudibranch species commonly known as

the blue ocean dragon or sea swallow (Glaucus atlanticus)

lilith was born in the year of the dragon

she is aquarius

and 

she has beautiful blue eyes

no one correct guess was exactly right on how lilith inspired it

so we had lilith herself pick a winner
