I haven't done any natural dyeing since last fall
I dusted off the dye jars I had stored away for the winter
and also started to revive my indigo and woad jars too
I dyed an antique dress for a little girl that looks quite lovely in blue
and some organic linen fiber for a friend of mine
it feels good to be dyeing again
You have the BEST clothesline! I need to get my own woad pot going!

No natural dyeing since last fall ? I wonder how you survived ! ;-)
These photos bring back so many memories to my mind & heart.
The gathering, the friends, the fun, the love. It will have to happen again !
xoxo Love you

the weather has been perfect for indigo too

Do you grow the indigo yourself? I've tried planting it several times and something always prevents it from spouting/or growing if a few do manage to sprout! The baby dress is beautiful in blue!

Gosh, that's beautiful! The colours are simultaneously more subtle and more intense than anything you can find in the shops. Wonderful!
It's only my first visit (I found you through Geninne's archives), but I think I'm hooked!

Gorgeous colours!
Just the other day I dusted off my walnut dye jar and coloured some yarn ... there must be something in the air!
