it was looking like there wasn't going to be a mushroom to be found
in the forest this year due to extreme heat and drought conditions
in june and july
but then it came
the clouds, the rain
the cooler evenings
and it seemed like overnight
they started to arrive
isn't it amazing what a little moisture can do

I wouldn't mind a little (ok, a lot !) of moisture too !!!!! The fungi seem to enjoy it thoroughly ! I love how each fungus has such personality ! Thank you so much for taking time to share these beautiful macros with us.
