They are very cool. I've only seen one ever and that was in an apple orchard in Washington state. I think I did a triple-take when I saw it. Cool and a little creepy at the same time.

Why hello little green guy :-) Thanks for the trip down memory lane with that song. Miss you!

This is very educational content and written well for a change. It’s nice to see that some people still understand how to write it.

The coy look after she mated with and just dined on her lover. It appears that at least she said Grace.

Ah, Warwick, Bacharach, David and Specter with Alpert on the horn. Its Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Brian Wilson and them. That's about it.

I came upon a Praying Mantis recently, too... she (well, I'm calling it a 'she') was quietly minding her own business on the wall outside the entrance to my LYS (local yarn store). One of the knitter-girls pretty much freaked out - having never seen such a creature before, and ran to get a big shoe!?! I quickly 'stepped in' and moved the Praying Mantis away from the shop and into some leafy ivy... taking a few minutes to watch her... her perfect triangle-shaped head moving from side to side... probably looking for her husband...as it was nearing dinner time (tee-hee). I've always been told that it is against the law to kill a Praying Mantis (true or not, I don't know - but I wouldn't want anyone to harm such an incredible creation...)
