Food for thought is the word. I've been thinking about it all morning & finally wrote about it on my blog as well. So much to talk about.
As always, your wise words & photos help us calming down, while actually thinking about what matters. Thank you for that.

Dear Margie, I have been quietly following your blog (and your lovely grandbaby's progress!). Because you are someone that I have enjoyed knowing in the blog world, I wanted to let you know that I have started writing my blog again. Today I wrote a little bit about Arounna's post as well. I admire her.
Take care! Maribeth

Arounna's heartfelt words struck a chord with so many of us. Thank you for the quote and the beautiful vase. Is that muscari? It makes me ache for spring.

Thank you for the quote and comments; it's hard to remember that we must try to take with equanimity the insensitive comments of those who just don't get handmade.
I'm also curious about the spiritual materialism you mentioned in your comment to Arounna's post - I've seen that Alan Watts has an extensive bibliography, and I wonder if "Does it Matter?" is the book where he writes about this subject.

Yes that is the book where he discusses that topic .
