You managed to capture awesome photos, my friend ! My bird photos are never great. Thank you for sharing them ! xoxo

I love them too. And the gorgeous pussy willows as well.

Lovely birds, i love their colors, wandering what type of bush they are sitting in?

I adore watching cedar waxwings! I especially love watching them share food with each other, passing each morsel back from the tip of the branch along to each bird in line behind them.

Yes! They are so special. Here in Virginia, in October, a small flock will visit my birdbath, bath vigorously, hang out for a few hours, and then they are gone. I wonder how do they know about my birdbath? And why the need to fly down and take such thorough baths?

What great photos, Margie. The shrub they are sitting in suits them perfectly. I call our cedar waxwings the masked bandits. They only visit my garden to steal berries. One Canadian garden writer, Lois Hole, used to refer to that as the 'bird tax'. :)

I was thrilled a few years ago to see a flock of these amazing birds in our apple trees - eating the blossoms! This week I grabbed my birdbook to identify a rose-breasted grosbeak at the feeder - the first I've seen here in 25 years. It's always a treat to watch the birds, especially at this glorious time of year. What a surprise to see the bright yellow goldfinches appear just when the yellow forsythias were blooming. I've never taken pictures, though. Your photos are wonderful, Margie - thank you so much!

Sorry - I meant to send this along:

Just beautiful.

One of my favorite birds, yet I have never seen one.
