These are great!!! and...of course I saw you all in red:) I think all the red warms up the landscape!

Oh my what a lovely way to start my day by looking at your absolutely charming photos Margie. Thank you once again for sharing. It makes us armchair travelers a little happier (so enjoy the muted and worn colours of the paint against the landscape, ahhhh!)

I had noticed that red was here & there on your photos on IG. It makes me think of Scandinavian countries, in a very good way.

Beautiful!! I LOVE photo 11! And of course the one of my little red riding hood friend <3

So lovely. You are giving me a bad case of wanderlust and envy. Red against blue is so striking.

Smithsonian just did a piece on why barns are red in case you're interested:

It's nice to know some of this lovely is due to stardust.

Your photos are so gorgeous, as usual. Did you ever consider compilation in a coffee table book? I think you have volumes in all the artful images you've created. I, for one, would love to have these to look at every day. Or maybe a calendar?
Thanks so much for your perceiving eye and sharing it with us.

what beautiful photos...a friend shared these with me since i love RED and have insisted for decades that "red is a neutral color that goes with everything"...i noticed you, too...

Weather beaten red buildings, pearly red partridge berries and juicy red apple. What a visual feast. All looking wonderful next to the bluest of seas. I imagine the islanders to be the warmest of people with a real sense of community. Thank you for introducing me to Fogo Island.
