after the last heat wave
it seems that someone just flipped the switch
and changed the season
the evenings are really cool now
and it has been so unusually wet for this time of year
the garden and all of its little inhabitants are appreciating the moisture
but I hope that the sun will shine for at least part of this upcoming long weekend
a time when a great many, here in ontario, plan their family vacations

It's been the same here too Margie, the sun has got lost behind the thunderstorms... but we still have the heat. So muggy today! I shall keep my fingers crossed that we both get a wee bit of sunshine this weekend.

i love your photos of the pretty astrantia major!
i have this one in my garden too and it is one of my absolute favourites. it is a nice one to hang up to dry too, i did that last year and they are very pretty looking : )
