we are still covered in a very thick blanket of snow and ice
but a spring thaw is on its way over the next few days
i am still going strong with my plant based diet
no meat , dairy or gluten for 2 months now
looking forward to daylight after work hours to go for walks in the forest
some people get the urge to clean and organize in the spring
i get a very strong creative surge
i have been stitching, crocheting, knitting, sewing, doll making, painting
spending time with family when I get the chance
smiles are plentiful and free
take some !

What a wonderful post. I'm especially tickled by all the wee things you're making for dolly (the mini sweater and bookhou bag are especially darling!) And you are giving me lots of ideas with your delicious food pictures! I'm going strong on nutritarianism too and it's the BEST!

I wonder how you manage without meat. I have very low haemosphaerine so it is trouble for me not to eat meat. Do you take any substitutes?AriadnefromGreece!

Greens have 15 mg of iron per 100 calories . Steak only 0.9 mg of iron per 100 calories. It is a myth that the best source of iron is meat !!

Very inspirational posts. I wanted to recommend to you if you haven't tried them, the Tulsi teas. I put tea bags in a pitcher of water in the frig and let it steep that way rather than heat water.
Also, can add some chia seeds to the tea, they have a funny texture when they get wet but I hear they're good for you.

I am smiling Margie. I remember an old photo on your blog of your mother knitting. I am finally knitting after my own mother failed to teach me! I hope to make a wee sweater soon. I follow blood-type A plant based diet, and I am feeling better each day. Your blog is my favorite, but I wish I could spend at least one hour in the kitchen with you. My grand babies are all grown, but your blog still delights me with their shining little faces. Best to you.

Beautiful babies! I love all your photos. You have a great eye for light, composition and color balance. (I have no idea what I am talking about, I just know what I like.)

What beautiful photos, the food (so delicious), the landscapes (so calming and refreshing), the doll making (so inspiring), the grandchildren (completely smile making). That little red sweater just kills me with its adorableness! Have a lovely weekend, thanks for sharing.
