this is my very last post about my travels in norway
i thought i would share a little more from røros
because you will see it holds more attraction than just a visit to the blanket factory
and looking at all the wonderful wooden doors
it was a grey, rainy day but the town was colourful enough for us not to really notice
i loved the art in a small cafe and shop we wandered into
i also enjoyed watching the girls eat Fløtegrøt
we tried to avoid some really nasty weather on our drive back towards oslo and although it was probably one of the least beautiful of all our campsites , at least we were dry
my lovely travel companions dropped me off at the airport
and drove to arendal to return the rental car
we travelled about 2000 km
and took at least as many photographs along the way
i find myself dreaming about my next trip to norway
we want to see the far north and especially the lofoten islands
i also really loved how greenland looked from the air
and may put that country on my ever growing list of places i want to visit
:)

Thank-you for sharing your wonderful photos. Norway has a firm clasp of my heart and now my children's too. We also travelled to Norway and Iceland this summer visiting many of the areas that you did. It was interesting to compare photos of the same places just a month apart. We had a heat wave and high humidity. It felt nice to return to the dry heat of the Okanagan in B.C.

Oh those shades of brown, ocre, brick, green ...
You have shared the most beautiful photos of all these stunning places you've visited, and I wanted to thank you for that. I know how difficult it is to go back to "regular life", after an amazing trip. It was just the same after I came back from my visit to you. xoxoxo

Thank you, Margie, from the bottom of my heart! You've shown me things I'd never have seen otherwise. What a thrill it must have been to travel through such a lovely country. The lace curtains and geraniums blooming in the front windows make it seem like a fairy tale land!!! May you have many more such trips in your future.
