SO beautiful! We did not even get a frost! I cannot believe it...Low was 37! I really cant complain:)) LOVE the pic of Lil and LUCKY:) They look like they have some pretty awesome toys at Oma's house!! Stay warm my friend:)

Snow already!! I am just getting used to the idea of Autumn.... I'm reading (savouring) Robin Kimmerer's book Braiding Sweetgrass also and enjoying it very much. I loved her book on Moss. Happily, it's still warm enough here on the West Coast (albeit very wet today) to still plan on some fine plant explorations.... Today, however, is a day for knitting by the fire. Except, of course, it is Monday.. Thank you for your always lovely photos and a nice start to the week.
